Model Medicines was featured at Google’s second Cancer AI Symposium in New York, an event that brought together more than 650 attendees across drug discovery, medical imaging, startups, venture capital, and next-generation healthcare innovation.

As part of the program, Daniel Haders II, Ph.D., presented new applications of GALILEO™ for oncology and participated in a panel discussion alongside leaders from SandboxAQ, OpenEvidence, and Kimia Therapeutics, a Recursion spinout. The conversation centered on how AI is unlocking new approaches to therapeutic development, from improving safety and accelerating clinical translation to expanding the boundaries of what is possible in oncology.

A key highlight from the symposium was Dr. Haders’ announcement that Model Medicines generated a 326 billion compound dataset on Google Cloud, built with AI to support the discovery of new therapeutic candidates. The scale of this dataset underscores Model Medicines’ commitment to pairing advanced computation with deep biological insight in pursuit of more efficient, more expansive drug discovery.

The company’s inclusion alongside some of the most respected innovators in AI and healthcare further reinforces Model Medicines’ position as both a platform company and a deep asset company. Through GALILEO™, Model Medicines continues to explore how AI can identify new drug opportunities, accelerate development, and redefine the future of medicine across therapeutic areas.
